It's tricky how we value things. That is the key determinate of wealth. In any given year, maybe 1 in 30 dwellings get sold. Yet we assume all other dwellings are priced the same as those.

Cars are in most places in Australia. They'll f you up. Trains are less common and more predictable, but they f you up too if you get on the wrong side of them

You can't compare revenue to tax paid. Tax is paid on profits, not revenue. For many businesses COGS is a very large percent of revenue.

They should index it to inflation. Otherwise it is an underhanded way to start taxing most people in the future.

I've started going to the gym regularly. Trying to add some muscle 💪. Eating some protein. Is that it? Do I just keep doing this until I look jacked?

 

I have a nas with 2x10tb drives. I mostly just have music, movies and tv shows on it.

People talk about raid not being a backup, but is that relevant for non-original data? I mean I can always get the media again if need be. It would just be an inconvenience.
