Distress Calls is a sci-fi horror micro-RPG centering around the skeleton crew of an understaffed space station, rundown research facility, or underpopulated frontier colony. When outside influences introduce complications, will the party work together, or tear each other apart trying to stay alive?

Clocking in at a single page (double-sided), Distress Calls is packed with robust tables for character & plot generation, and game mechanics to keep players on their toes at all times. Distress, and how easy it is to accrue, will make everyone need to choose their actions wisely.

Distress Calls is inspired by such franchises as Alien, The Thing (and really all of John Carpenter's body of work), Event Horizon, and Outland. The base dice resolution mechanic draws influence from PbtA-based games.

Fuorimondo! is an easy to learn and fun to play table-top role-playing game of out-of-this-world adventures in outer space. It is based on the Passkey System and inspired by sci-fi genres such as utopian space exploration, sword and planet and space operas.

Fuorimondo! features player-centered collaborative role-play, and quick character creation with lots of room for customisation. It provides a variety of prompts and roll tables for generating adventures, alien species, planets, anomalies, spaceships and more!

Whatever your preferred flavour of outer-space adventure, Fuorimondo! gives you the rules and tools to bring it to life at your gaming table.

I don't want to spoil, so won't say much about the plot etc. To me it was a good read. Well written, I went from 16% to 100% in one day. The mystery was delivered nicely, well paced and interesting idea. And I liked the exploration of corp environment at high positions. I think it's not done often at this POV

In the TTRPG industry, physical dice are plentiful for sighted individuals but scarce and often unaffordable for those who are blind or visually impaired. The DOTS RPG Project is an organization focused on improving accessibility in tabletop roleplaying games. Money raised from this charity bundle will help fund the production of their Signature Braille RPG Dice, manufactured in partnership with Die Hard Dice. This will make the first ever Braille RPG Dice available in a retail setting worldwide, helping make tabletop gaming more accessible for blind and visually impaired gamers.

This bundle includes 314 items for $10

Dragonmount Press proudly announces the upcoming crowdfunding campaign for Zombie Road RPG, a groundbreaking tabletop role-playing game set in a post-apocalyptic world. The campaign will launch on Gamefound on September 10, 2024, at 3:00 PM CET.

Zombie Road RPG introduces several innovative features to the tabletop role-playing genre:

  • Players assume their own identities rather than fictional characters.
  • Gameplay is set in the players' real-world locations, reimagined post-apocalypse.
  • The game focuses on quick, one-shot adventures instead of extended campaigns.
  • A streamlined ruleset provides accessibility for newcomers while offering depth for experienced players.

Set more than a decade after societal collapse, Zombie Road RPG tasks players with escorting an immune individual through dangerous territories to a laboratory developing an antibody. The game incorporates unique mechanics such as a special d6 system, an endurance feature for recovering from failed rolls, and a "strigula" collection system.

Early supporters will receive exclusive benefits:

  • Followers joining before September 10 will receive a free adventure module based on David A. Simpson's Zombie Road novel series.
  • The first 48-hour supporters will receive an early bird package including a DIY game master board and additional game materials such as a set of unique items and several random tables.

The crowdfunding campaign will offer various support tiers, including digital and print editions, a special edition supporting WWF Hungary Foundation, and a deluxe version featuring an exclusive cover art by renowned Hungarian comic artist Krisztián Tuli.

Lately, I have been having a problem with finding in-person players. I have visited shops to find them full of Magic and other TCG players, but no role-players. Several game stores in my area are like this. I have posted on relevant socials and Discords like the Discord server for a game store, local area RPG players Discord and FB pages, LFG groups on reddit and Lemmy and Discord. I'm wondering if anybody else has this problem, and how are you trying to solve this?

I recently heard about Mothership from some YouTubers and decided to run a one-shot for a couple of guys in my Pathfinder 2e group. I was really impressed by the way that a more rules-light system naturally encourages more player engagement and creativity. We will probably end up playing a lot more of it in the future.
