Story

Fed up with unavoidable double ads before videos, the protagonist decides to enter a shooting game (shmup) where shooting down ads is the goal. Completing all stages promises an ad-free experience for a while, but is it really that simple?

Something worth highlighting is that this isn't the first time Zanac has been reissued for the Nintendo Switch.

Back in 2021, G-Mode released the 2005 mobile port of the game on Switch as part of its G-Mode Archives series, while, earlier this year, D4 Enterprise EGGCONSOLE made the MSX original available on the Nintendo console for the first time.

Well, it's my 2nd 1cc ever -- wish it was for a better game! But it only took a couple of hours to grind out, so I felt like what the hell.

As of this moment, very little information has been revealed about the brand new title, with all we know about it so far being that the game will be called CopperStorm and that is is described as "a new Steampunk shoot 'em up" inspired by games like Thunderforce IV & Metal Slug.

I just wanted to point out two things.

1. Mr Heli/Battle Chopper is one of those games that I find crazy hard. If you die and lose your powerups you are in for torture or resetting.
2. This game is available on Evercade so this statement is somewhat false:

the last time we saw Mr. Heli in any kind of Irem-related collection was back in 2011 for the Irem Arcade Hits release from DotEmu

Have any of you ever played this game that makes me want to smash everything?

I was playing Pulstar and Blazing Star today by way of the Android ports that Hamster did, specifically the caravan mode. I've noticed that it will often pop up a message when my caravan run starts (about 20 seconds in or so) stating that it can't connect to the online rankings. Sometimes it'll do that before I get into a game.

When I do finish a caravan run, it asks if I'd like to publish my scores and if I tap yes, it doesn't tell me there was a failure but I am not visible on the online ranking at all and tapping the "You" tab doesn't do anything.

Does anyone know if they took the leaderboards down or if they ever worked? As far as I can tell, the same top 6 caravan players have always been there since I've had a copy of these great ports.
