As expected, me, as a single mod, requires some help. I'll keep this post pinned and update it when needed. At the moment, what the community needs (except for more active users) is:

  1. Another mod, even if there is not a lot of work to do, I'd still be happy if we can have redundancy.
  2. Design for the community logo and banner.
  3. A bot to update the sidebar - this is something I can do myself, only it will take me sometime to get there.

Also deals with the theme of a controlling class structure. Les Claypool ~~was also almost in~~ tried out for Metallica and he used to buy weed off Kirk Hammett in high school

Speaking of sick bass! Bonus heavy metal connection, Led Claypool auditioned for Metallica back in the day. I'm paraphrasing, but Metallica told him something like, "You're way to good to be in Metallica"

Connection: Baseball is a game and the reason of YLT’s name.

They chose the name Yo La Tengo, Spanish for "I have it". The name came from a baseball anecdote from the 1962 season, when New York Mets center fielder Richie Ashburn and shortstop Elio Chacón collided in the outfield. When Ashburn went for a catch, he would yell, "I got it! I got it!" only to run into Chacón, a Venezuelan who spoke only Spanish. Ashburn learned to yell, "Yo la tengo! Yo la tengo!" instead. In a later game, Ashburn happily saw Chacón backing off. He relaxed, positioned himself to catch the ball, and was run over by left fielder Frank Thomas, who understood no Spanish and had missed a team meeting that proposed using the words "Yo la tengo!" as a way to avoid outfield collisions. After getting up, Thomas asked Ashburn, "What the hell is a yellow tango?"

Edit: I originally heard the story on a podcast (Marc Maron) with Ira (of YLT) and just found it pretty funny
