@dgar @skyfire747 @weirdfolks I've tried to get into this game several times, but I find it just a bit overwhelming. Any advice?
@todwest @dgar @weirdfolks multi-player helps a lot. It can be hard playing solo.
@skyfire747 @dgar @weirdfolks Not into multiplayer anymore. Played EQ for over a decade but soured on the experience.
Try "invite a friend" multiplayer, not massive multiplayer. Huge difference.

@cy @skyfire747 @dgar @weirdfolks LOL. I need to have one of those first. I'm sure you're right, however. Had a very nice group of compatriots with EQ back in the day until the griefers and assholes showed up.
Sucks that people take advantage of that sort of kindness and generosity, but the only way I know to stop it is to refuse to play with anyone you don't know. If the game doesn't let you do that... it's not worth playing.
@cy @todwest easy fix for that, set a password on the server for Valheim and only give it to people you trust to play well. 😃
