You have yet another account? lol

Yes, I have two accounts: This one and DonaldJMusk@Lemmy.today--which is my main instance. Hilarious Chaos is such a great instance tho, I wanted to throw in my support for them and have a little landing base here. Ya know, just show them my appreciation for the great things they have done for Lemmy.

And you know me; I'm happy to do anything I can to help grow Lemmy and make it great.

As I'm sure you have seen, some people like to go around and just cancel people, silence them, you know... stifle their voices just because their political opinions may be different than others. So anything I can do to liven things up a bit, get some conversations going.

I'm quite confident, that you of all people, know how much we should celebrate difference of opinion and not go around accusing people of being alts, trying to get admins to ban them, etc. There just seems to be so much of that lately. Trying to exclude people. Ban them from the fediverse.

Wouldn't it be crazy if there were someone going to conservatives of reddit, and pointing them to Lemmy and saying stuff like, "Hey guys, let's create do something awesome! Let's equalize Lemmy a bit!! Lemmy needs more conservative voices!"

And then maybe that person works with a large group. They talk about timing. You know, rather than all at once, people just trickle in. Little by little. Maybe become mods of neutral places. Then become mods in more popular communites. Slowly showing more and more conservative voices.

And you know, maybe they start in the friendlier places. Then get a feel for things. Once they know how to do it, spread out to other instances. Sorta change things slowly but surely.

That would be crazy, right? Right? :)

Now I wouldn't know anything about all of that. I think I just saw someone on Lemmy mention a scenario like that. Or was it Reddit? Anyway, they were probably just thinking outloud. I'm sure that wouldn't really happen. Would it? Nah.. of course not.

But I do think Hilarious Chaos is a great little instance. So just wanted to hang my hat there for a bit. You know, just doing my part and helping where I can.

I noticed you cleaned up some of your mess, I guess it was getting too obvious

[–] donaldjmusk@hilariouschaos.com 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

What mess was cleaned up? What does that even mean?

[–] aubeynarf@lemmynsfw.com 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm not the mod so I don't know anything about that. But you said, "I noticed you cleaned up some of your mess, I guess it was getting too obvious." I don't know what you are referring to.
