I'll save you a click: 7,100 Cybertrucks sold in the US in the first quarter of 2025. Another 10,000 trucks remain unsold. Last year Tesla sold fewer than 40,000 of them. This is way below the 500,000 per year Musk predicted.
I'm trying to think of any other vehicle that's flopped this hard in sales and I'm drawing a blank.
Couldn't have happened to a better target.
The Fiat Multipla, widely regarded as a fucking ugly piece of useless trash was a worldwide failure, because it looked like this:
It sold 70k in the first year (EDIT: in europe)
That car was ugly, but it didn't cost a fortune, was relatively safe and wouldn't get bricked after having a car wash.
Well yeah, It was ugly and dumb (here's a 6-person car, hope none of you have any bags), but it wasn't a deathtrap.
