Yeah, my mother was weird like that. When I was 13, she banned the only decent channel on broadcast TV for Saturday morning cartoons because Digimon season 1 was "satanic".

I had one of those too. The weirdest (in hindsight) has to be The Little Mermaid... because of the octopus witch thing
