But Baba won't stop being queen if you remove the "Baba is queen". It already became queen, you need "queen is Baba" to reverse it.

Now that I think about it, would this be a win? Since no one is you, does this count as winning even though there's no one that can win?

Normally the answer would be no, as under regular Baba is You rules, something that is you has to touch something that is win to win. However this doesn't imply regular rules, and assumes you instantly win when you reach the goal

+ there's no "checkmate is win"

I was interpreting it as the conditions being temporary while the rule is in effect.

This would cause issues.

I assume you didn't play Baba is you. It's a nice puzzle game, you should give it a try.
