we finally have our mail situation sorted out, i think. this was our main hangup in getting back to people. i'm now on backlog duty, so most new approvals and denials should be pretty quick. currently i'm out to about two days so far on old ones. (we previously cleared a swath up to about five days out before shit hit the fan.)

if you registered with an email--which most people seem to have--you should eventually get a notification sometime in the near future. if you have not you'll have to routinely log in to see the status because we can't do anything on our end about that. i'd advise checking once a day or so. thanks

Hi, may I ask the cause and solution to this? Over at my instance lemmy.pro I had people trying to sign up, but I never saw anything. Then later, I would see the email, but go to the registration applications page to approve them and see nothing… we’re on build 17.3

I can try to assist with some of the troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately, it's a bit more involved for reasoning than just 'change this or that setting'. A culmination of recent changes to a lot of moving parts, caused this problem. I want to be sure I can give you the right solution.
