chrome seems the best experience for lemmy-ui so far with safari causing some problems (though if you close it, and reopen it, it works again). Firefox has some issues as well. What browser are you using?

I'm using Firefox. I had been experiencing user error -- I did not realize the preview was a function of the URL in a given post. I didn't want to spam anyone so I created this "sandbox" community. I hope others will also be exploring the quirks and features of Lemmy's UI. We can all be noobs together :)

We need this and you did the right thing. Together we can make lemmy-ui work for all of us. One thing that was learned from Mastodon is that while it had a developed code base over a number of years as the fediverse grew, it still had growing pains that only surfaced with the twitter migration. We all tend to assume that these frameworks are as seasoned and robust as the commercial systems we've used, but in reality, they are not. So, we should sandbox, test and document our experiences so that all of us can help make Lemmy better.
