If no one contests him publicly, how can the curious be persuaded away from his ideas?

You aren’t going to change his mind. It will only bring more people with a loose mental association to reality to join him on the easily disproven conspiracy theory nonsense.

And from what we've seen over the last few years, it unfortunately doesn't even take that much charisma to take charge of a meaningful amount of people
