So this is causing a lot of controversy and I thought it was worth a discussion.

Honestly, I think Rory is wrong, but only slightly. What Xhaka did wasn't unforgivable, but it was unforgettable. I personally think he should've been sold immediately. But the reality is that he wasn't. He was kept at the club and he was allowed an opportunity to grow as a player and to be part of our best season in years. I dislike people acting like it was a non thing, because our club is special. I heard someone earlier mention context and yes, he was receiving some abuse he didn't deserve to. But he was part of that, his subpar performances and lack of discipline. But football fans are fickle. We're renowned for having short memories. For some integrity isn't a factor and the respect for the badge is only as tested as our last three points. That all said, what's done is done and no matter what side of the fence you stand on, class is part of our Arsenal DNA, so even if we frown upon all that happened, we'll still thank him and wish him the best.

Xhaka incident was a symptom of the malaise. Malaise cured, previous symptom irrelevant.

@soycapitan451 @sabreW4K3 The rant was clearly clickbait, or rage bait, and of course it worked. Angry fans springing to his defence =engagement = revenue
