That was a fascinating read. The plasticity of the brain constantly amazes me. It's incredible the way some parts of the brain will just handle tasks that are seemingly totally unrelated.
I wonder how this also plays into other dopamine-related diseases such as Restless Leg Syndrome.
So, is there an opposite "disease" where the deceleration-sensitive neurons are non-functional? What would that look like?
