Ray and Debra are looking for a house. Ray maps out the optimal distance from his parents to avoid them coming over every day (the 'hot zone') or too far away where they become overnight guests.

When I bought my house a few years ago, this scene was playing in my head and did factor into my decision lol.

This was one of the worst shows ever aired on TV. Raymond is actually funny in stand-up and movies, but gosh this show was awful. Everyone was terrible towards each other, and the show was just overall bad.

I've never really cared for the show, but there are bits and pieces I recall from time to time, this being one of them.

ELR also caused me to never really care for Patricia Heaton because I only knew her as Debra. I've been hate-watching the 2023 Frasier revival, and Heaton is a guest for most of the second season, and I really like her character there.
