Welcome!
For email enthusiasts, I created a community called "Email discussions"
You can discuss anything about email, see you there!
I find that a lot of the more discussion oriented parts of Reddit seem to have migrated over to kbin instead (which is partly why I set up shop there), so I'd recommend checking out the kbin versions of the communities you may be interested in. They're less active overall but the signal to noise ratio seems to be better.
And because federation, you can still subscribe and discuss things with your Lemmy account (albeit with more bugs than you may be used to)
I just created a community where people can discuss old internet or software topics
Topics can be sites/fads/software/games/memes or any general happenings that used to occur on computers way back in the day.
You can think of this as a sister community to the retro hardware community !retrocomputing@lemmy.sdf.org
here are some links you can use to find us!:
@lackthought it's beehaw.org.
Also, just why can't I view lemmy posts natively on the app? Why does it take me to a browser tab for viewing it?
Relaxed section for discussion and debate that doesn't fit anywhere else. Whether it's advice, how your week is going, a link that's at the back of your mind, or something like that, it can likely go here.
