Not saying this is okay but this is the second time a building of the Amsterdam uni was occupied and both times there were millions in damage. I mean it's good to make media talk about the palastinan genocide and also good to pressure the university into breaking ties with Israeli institution and companies, but all the broken furniture and electronics have to be replaced (again) and that money would be so much more useful in Gaza and the West Bank.
Not in the article, but I feel for the second time now the occupation of the uni got hijacked by people (rightfully) angry about all the people dying in Gaza. I mean I understand those people but again, breaking other people stuff isn't a solution. Again, I don't think the violence used by the undercover police is fair, but I understand why they aren't able to do this peacefully.
