Lemmy.world grew from around 51000 total users the moment 3rd party reddit apps started to shut down on June 30 to 71000 total users at the time of this post (July 1). That's a 40% growth in about 12 hours!

Very happy to see that such a strong migration is actually happening.
This probably happened with every Lemmy server out there.
I was having timeout issues with most that I tried to use.
Today everything seems normal.
I have slowly been trying to redo my frontpage here and so far with all those migration links it's been a breeze
Man the servers got hit today didn't they!

Sync for Lemmy is coming soon which should be one of the best apps around if it perfectly can replicate the (now removed) Reddit version.
