“Statute requires the district to offer parents a way to limit their children’s access to certain materials,” they said. “Unfortunately, they’re making it as difficult as possible.”

“Teachers and parents alike are saying it’s not a workable system.”

The chapter continued to say that the policy still does not excuse the county from keeping “inappropriate materials” in the school libraries.

Its about time we realize non-profits are the primary vehicle to hide corruption and other nefarious activities.

We need to revisit the benefits provided to non-profits.

Monique Worrell, Florida state attorney for the 9th Judicial Circuit, failed to prosecute 43% of arrests - releasing 16,243 defendants without prosecution, according to state AG Ashley Moody.

"Ms. Worrell is dismissing during the same period nearly four times the number of defendants as are being dismissed or not charged in Palm Beach County," she said, adding "It is not normal for a prosecutor to come out repeatedly after we have seen tragedy strike and insinuate, 'It's not my fault.' I submit to you this was, in a way, to distract from where fault should have lay."

Even violent felonies were only prosecuted 41% of the time, according to Moody.

"In February, I called on SA Monique Worrell to deliver the justice and accountability needed for the families affected by shootings in her district and said her suspension would be fully justified. She failed to do her job. Families deserve better."

This refusal would feed into a nasty, flawed, and disgusting view of black American history that ultimately degrades the contributions of blacks in early American society. It’s hard to see how black Americans would be better served by such an erroneous approach.

African American history is the story of a resilient people that persevered through even the most unimaginable and challenging circumstances — and that is exactly how it should be taught.

Chase told Florida’s Voice that the accounts were closed due to the federal government’s “scrutiny” of the customer for “engaging in illegal activity” related to his products.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration sent a warning letter to Dr. Mercola Feb. 18, 2021 about Mercola Market’s website and social media. The FDA said Mercola selling Liposomal Vitamin C, Liposomal Vitamin D3, Quercetin and Pterostilbene Advanced as a way to mitigate, prevent, treat, diagnose or cure COVID-19 is in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

“We request that you take immediate action to cease the sale of such unapproved and unauthorized products for the mitigation, prevention, treatment, diagnosis, or cure of COVID-19,” the FDA’s letter said.

“Our district will no longer participate in any attempt to divide us by race or advance the notion that we are not created equal,” the new district administrator said. “As the former head of the Central Florida Urban League, a civil rights organization, I can say definitively that our community thrives only when we work together despite our differences.”

The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District said the previous district tended to award contracts “based on racially and gender driven goals.”

The standards are clear in teaching that, despite their enslavement, blacks developed skills that “in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit” — not that slavery was beneficial to them. It’s worth mentioning that the College Board’s African American studies course includes similar teachings.

But these facts didn’t stop Republicans like Scott from advancing Harris’ false narrative about the subject. When asked about it late last week, Scott embraced the lie and used it to attack fellow 2024 primary contender Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

Sounds like the Judge is imposing racial segregation

One of the major changes prepared by the ALCU keeps all of Coconut Grove and Flagami in their respective districts. Both areas had been split up under the city’s plan. Both sections have high percentages of Hispanic residents, including Flagami with nearly 94%.

Predominately black neighborhoods of Overtown and Liberty City are also staying together in District 5.

California and New York have sustained population declines during Covid and after, that have long-term implications for local economies. The exodus means workers with six-figure salaries in technology, finance, real estate, and entertainment are going elsewhere, which will reduce tax revenue for the state.

MyEListing.com, an online real estate portal, used IRS migration data to reveal California and New York lost $343 million and $299 million in 2021, respectively, due to the surge in migration outflows.

And perhaps this is for the best - Certain social concepts simply cannot coexist and it's better that leftists who exploit children as props for activism not live so close to conservatives and moderates that view this practice as abhorrent. Certainly all sides come out happier (except maybe the unfortunate children being groomed), and surely the majority of Floridians are glad to see such people go.

DeSantis signed legislation protecting parental rights in Florida in March 2022 which led to a feud with Disney over the entertainment conglomerate’s opposition to the legislation.

Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, former Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley and former President Donald Trump have criticized DeSantis over the feud with Disney.

DeSantis barred banks from considering “social credit” when making loan decisions and prohibited discrimination on the basis of political, social or religious ideology.

DeSantis signed legislation on May 2 that prohibited state agencies and local governments from considering environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors when issuing bonds.

“A shareholder action may be both appropriate and necessary,” he said. “To protect SBA and the retirees of Florida from losses attributable to AB InBev’s disregard of those duties, all options are on the table.”

The “radical social ideologies” referenced by DeSantis harkens to when Bud Light partnered with young transgender activist and influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

“That fateful decision has transformed America’s formerly best-selling beer— and one of InBev’s best-performing assets—into a commercial pariah,” the governor said. “InBev’s losses have been staggering.”

“They’re trying to smuggle anti-Israel policies into the so-called ESG [environmental, social and corporate governance] criteria,” he said.

The law signed by DeSantis prevents Florida from working with companies who are “taking adverse action, including changes to published commercial financial ratings … to inflict economic harm on Israel.”

Morningstar is a firm that has faced frequent criticism over concerns of anti-Israel bias, which they addressed late last year.

In April, Jewish News Syndicate warned that Morningstar’s practices could damage several companies over serving citizens in “occupied” territories in the region.
