Question for the UK LGBT community: This article makes it sound like the pink vote is significant to the Tories. As an American, I’m having a really hard time imagining how that comes about. I’d accuse it of being slanted, but it quotes a number of Tory MPs who are publicly and strongly criticizing the statement.

In the US, the LGBT vote is pretty overwhelmingly Democratic. There’s a small group that support republicans, but it’s very rare - to the point it’s something worthy of notice and a point of contention.

So, is the portrayal in this article accurate? What are the politics over there? I’ve been active politically since the days of ACT UP, so I know what things are like over here, but I’m completely stunned by what they’re presenting about the political alignment over there.

One guy in my office has the fking fattest ass I have seen in my life. He is just so god damn fine.

I commute with the bike and so a lot of people here in my office and we have showers to freshen up. People know im gay and no one really cares (except one russian guy, but thats another story).

Anyway there is this guy, mid 40s, that I can sense a small pinch of fruitiness. He has really the fattest most delicious bubble butt that I have seen in my life. I dont see him often in the showers, as we arrive at different times, but once or twice a month I will meet him in the showers, and my eyes just can't!

I thought he was gay, but he is married. The interesting thing is, he brought his wife once to an office thing and his wife is really butch, like if he is completely straight, he is definitely getting pegged (which I completely support!)

This may seem childish but I’ve had a crush on someone for a quite a long time (around a decade). I know I need to move on but been unsuccessful so far.

We haven’t seen each other for a while. He’s traveling to my city in a few weeks, and, due to some scheduling conflicts, he’s staying with me for a few days.

Thing is, I never know how to be around the dude. He’s already in a committed relationship with his boyfriend, which makes me kinda jealous TBH. Not sure how I’m gonna deal when he’s here physically in a few weeks.

Part of me wants to say something serious about the issue of unions being crushed by corporate America, however the other part wants to laugh with schadenfreude at the hilarious mistake management have made here. Either way a lot of people's sex lives might be affected 🤷

If you haven't seen it then please do yourself a favour and go watch it. It's a comedy about pirates and it is the gayest show I've seen in a long time! It's got Taika Waititi in it, what more do you need to know? If you liked What We Do In The Shadows then you'll like this.

My favourite is Blackbeard, he's so secretly wholesome and I hadn't realised how hot Taika Waititi is until I saw him in this!

Someone mentioned their location in a post the other day and it got me wondering what part of the world we're all from. I think I've mostly spoken to Europeans which is a surprise.

I've only recently found Schitts Creek and have fallen in love with it. I really like the relationship between Patrick and David and think it might be my favourite representation of a gay couple on TV ever.

Really sad to see more attacks like this happening in places that are usually accepting. I used to go to this pub and know people who still do go there, it must be so weird for them going to the MET for help when all the reports show them as institutionally homophobic, racist and sexist. What's it like where you are?
