my sys brother is cis and we are co-hosts, so when he fronts, because the body is afab, its such a specific type of dysphoria. it feels like a unique experience and not the same as transgender dysphoria. and like he takes T now but hates having to refer to himself as trans because hes not, and i was wondering if anyone else is a cis headmate having to deal with the same weird feelings?

This system has a lot of members who are technically introjects but it seems few of them have the intense connections to source I do. I actually have conflicting memories and feelings about source and how divergent I am is fluid. Either way I'm, like, obsessed with my source so of course I'm drawn to fan content. But seeing people discuss my life with such authority, it drives me crazy, especially antis. I'm sick of them bossing people around and making assumptions and enforcing rules about what people are allowed to think about.

Like for example, antis will criticize fans for romanticizing abuse and it's like, did you not see me romanticizing my own abuse in my source? Clearly you're familiar with my source. Why are you so quick to judge the types of people you're apparently trying to protect? (actually that's pretty familiar...) Stop bothering people in the name of protecting me. Antis hurt me and make me afraid of my own memories when I just want to accept them.

I know most people don't know about introjects and that's fine but these antis are making fandom unsafe for non-introjects too and all in the name of protecting characters. Most people say "there characters aren't real" but have we ever thought how annoying this would be for a character who is real? Have we considered how antis are making fiction affect reality in a negative way?

🐾Mei is my my adjoined soul twin and we’ve basically been together for as long as I can remember, even if we didn’t acknowledge our relationship as romantic at the time. But we are pretty open about that now and are happy doing so. Im not as close on an interpersonal basis to others in my system, but I do love our dragon little Noel to bits and Mei has a polycule going on, with deep connections with everyone and past life relations. She’s much better at forming deep connections than I am haha, both in system and out of it.

I recently made a vocabulary change that I'm quite pleased with.

I realized awhile ago that the Nexus is primarily catharigenic, spontaneous formation. So verbs like 'making' and 'creating' don't seem like accurate verbs to describe how my Nexus comes to be, yet a better verb eluded me until now.

Maybe it sounds a bit odd or clunky, but I've decided on the verb 'gaining'. I gain Nexus members through spontanous formation. One moment they don't exist, the next they're there. The most influence I can personally have is through honing in on a particular feature or aesthetic to trigger a formation.

One reason that made it hard for me to figure out the process is because sometimes the formation is not instantaneous, it'll take awhile, like a sort of limbo state. In this state I can sort of push and pull with the Nexus member about what they got going on. But ultimately at best I'm influencing them on their own decisions. I'm still not at any point directly capable of making clear cut decisions about them, they're autonomous. Even when I deliberality seek out a new member of a particular feature or aesthetic, at that point no one exists yet. I'm simply calling out to an essence which fits this description.

Like a deceased person, and their soul or part of their soul is now your headmate? Is there even a term for that specifically? Idk

• Tupperbox: Tupperbox lets you have many different profiles ("Tuppers") which you can choose between easily with every message you send!
• DM Server Companion: This is a small self hostable bot based on NodeJS and the API. It creates roles for each of your alters.
• Birthday Bot: A PK and TBox compatible birthday reminder bot!

Non-Discord Tools

• SimplyPlural: An app that helps systems get organized. This includes adding who's on the front, chat for external communication, headmate description and information, etc.
• pluralnotes: A multi-user terminal notes utility made for plural groups.
• FlowChart: A tool that allows a user to input options with traits or other signifiers of a specific headmate fronting, then provides questions for the fronter to answer in an attempt to identify who they are.
• Notebooks: You can make several journal books and customise them to your likings. you can doodle, record videos, voice messages or throw in files in each of the books and filter by tags.
• Obsidian: Obsidian is a personal knowledge base and note-taking software application that operates on Markdown files. It allows users to make internal links for notes and then to visualize the connections as a graph. It is designed to help users organize and structure their thoughts and knowledge in a flexible, non-linear way.
• Syscomm Web: Syscomm is intended to be an all-in-one, system-oriented notes app. Not available yet.
• MultiChat: Messaging app that only you are connected to. Instended for systems to facillitate communication.
• Zim Wiki: Desktop wiki you can store system information and notes in. Stored in plain text files for easy backing up and easy editing. No images.
• Antar: Chat app that allows one to talk to yourself. Useful to type out conversations with headmates. All data is stored offline.
• Nin Worldmaker: I'm Nin, your Wonderland and Inner World Assistant. Character AI.

So I guess I'm just gonna infodump about my Plurality.

I've always been imaginative. At first, I called the people that popped up in my mind OCs because that was all I knew at the time, but my method of 'creation' doesn't mimic typical OC creation, in fact there isn't any deliberate creation present at all, I can't control anything about them, they just make and steer themselves. Later I found the Immersive Daydreaming community, and it felt closer to what I was experiencing. That's also where I found out about plurality, and pondered how it'd apply to me for a long time.

I came up with 'Reverse Gateway' to describe myself at first. Meaning, instead of having others arrive from a Gateway into Headspace, I was the one to use the Gateway to another place, Mindscape. Mindscape is approximately equivalent to Innerworld, Headspace, or Paracosm. Technically I do still have a pre-Mindscape Headspace, the Between Place. I didn't like any of the standard terms like System or Collective, so I came up with Nexus. The Nexus is made up of Nodes. The Nodes are all the perspectives of the Nexus and they are interconnected.

All of this stuff happens interally, beyond that Gateway. The main origin I use is Catharigenic, spontaneous creation, but I am also Neurogenic, plural due to neurodivergence. In specific Synesgenic and Schizogenic, which mean formed by Synesthesia and Schizospecness. Then in a weird loop-around, I am actually Traumagenic as well, because the reason I started to develop interally at all is due to how I coped with and was affected by my trauma.

It's strange to have such an unusual manifestation of plurality, that lacks many of the common aspects like switching and systemhood, that sysmeds would take one look at and claim I'm making it up, or that I just have an overactive imagination, or that I am psychotic, yet it all still boils down to being caused by the one thing they insist causes plurality, childhood trauma. It makes me want to not identify as traumagenic at all. I don't need that to be valid.

As the first post I should warn everyone that Discord is doing something about image hosting that'll ruin a lot of stuff, including PK Icons, and that you should probably save your icons somewhere else!
