I was curious to know whether any other Lemmy instances had mentioned rqd2 so I searched for the website on other instances and surprisingly I found quite a few posts.

What I found really funny is that some of them shared screenshots of my posts and were debating whether we're real or just some kind of "parody" instance:

It's always been a concern of mine that reporting rqd2 could lead to problems, especially seeing what happened to Youjo lately.

I got an email the other day saying someone reported me and to kill myself

Thoughts? I'm considering making a Kbin, as a sort of sister instance to the Lemmy here. Kbin is also a federated reddit clone.

The purpose would be so that folks can have their choice between the two softwares, but since they federate with each other they'd still have all the same content and community.

I chose Lemmy cuz it's vastly more popular, but kbin seemed like better software.

It would probably just be under kbin.rqd2.net and share the same Matrix homeserver and GC

whenever i'm scrolling through the local feed, click to go to the comments of a post, then go back, it shows me as being on the local feed but i see global posts.

Not sure what was happening with the Lemmy but it's back up! Sorry for the delay I also upped the RAM. hopefully it's not as slow anymore once i have some more money i'll get the even better package

I am genuinely having such a blast interacting with this community. I do apologize if me being everywhere is annoying to anyone, but I really missed something like this place in my life. Sure I can go on Reddit or Twitter, but watch me getting witchhunted for merely breathing wrong. I'd have to hide crucial parts of myself. I wouldn't be able to fully speak my mind. I wanna make another website after this. If I do it'll be a few months out, maybe longer, but it'll have a lot more than rqd2 does. It won't be a part of the Fediverse though.

I wanna give the radqueer community even more online resources, starting with a wiki and a proper bulletin board forum. After that I'm considering starting a "library" where anyone can archive resources, infographics, webpages, and whatnot for anyone to view. I'm also considering a type of "news" blog that covers the current state of the community.

It's a lot of goals, but I have plans for how I'm gonna do them, what softwares I'm gonna use, etc.

No promises yet, but I wanted to put this out there to garner y'all's thoughts. What else could a general radqueer website deliver? What other resources would help our community?
