Because I'm not here for nsfw content, and I'd rather not see it when I'm browsing random sfw content, so I block it all. I'm not anti-nsfw, but keeping it separate seems like a good idea. If others don't agree that's fine. I'm not going to complain if this sub includes nsfw content, but I won't stick around either.
Well what if I were to mark those posts as NSFW so that if you don't want to see them, Lemmy won't show them to you? Would that work?
The only way people can see NSFW content on Lemmy is if they have it enabled in their Settings panel:
That seems like it could work. Maybe it's worth a trial. Iirc though the posts still show up in my app, but are just blurred out, which isn't a great experience.
