I'm in the portage lakes area, I like it here! Low COL and I have a decently paying WFH job that just makes it better.
People who say Akron is bad are people who have never experienced living in a bad neighborhood.
To what "cool outdoor mall" are you referring? I'm not being glib, I honestly don't know.
Lol. Crocker park? That's not Akron, dude. Not even close. It's in Westlake, which is in Cuyahoga county... and is considered a proper suburb of Cleveland.
