Isn't it scaring you how you guys have no real justice in the US if anyone with a bit of power can just override it?
I don't know if this makes it more or less scary but the idea of Perry being able to just pardon anyone isn't actually factual. A Texas governor can refer a pardon, but a board still has to approve it.
