Can someone explain what is the benefit to Microsoft for having their own browser?
Data collection.
What they do with that data? Nobody outside MS will ever know…
Edit: just found this page and this one, see section “How does Orion respect my online privacy”, but in summary, Edge has double of Firefox’s requests to home…
