A prosecutor is a public servant by definition.

A public servant that gets off on enforcing an unjust disproportionate entrenched system. Executioners are public servants by definition too, should I respect them as well? Prosecutors are mostly goobers.

I can't help if you believe yourself to be mistreated. The fact is, though, when laws are broken somebody has to represent the people. We are either a nation of laws or not and I hope you don't take the Trump answer.

will that still be your answer when they change the laws to be able to come after you?

[-] Rapidcreek@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago

Yes. In a nation of laws, no one is above them. Besides, I'm law abiding.

what about the women crossing state borders for abortions or some other medical needs that are being deemed illegal in the state they reside? they are not above the law and should be handled accordingly? think you meant it is a nation of laws for the minority not the majority.
