I think it's neat he doesn't hurt the people, only separates

Yes, especially the fans' hands on Messi's shoulder, quite nice

That would really piss me off, people constantly trying to touch me like that.

It's so weird how strong the para-social effect is; it's almost like they think they own him in some way. Ugh. Can totally see how he needs a bodyguard for shit like that.

Yeah cool but a single edited video is not enough to prove that.

You're right but also, this edit shows that at least a number of times he doesn't hurt them. At the very least we know that he does some thinking on how to handle certain situations, especially because a couple of these I 100 percent expected him to tackle people to the ground and instead he just holds them away. Pleasantly surprised.

If Messi's bodyguard was regularly roughing up fans, you'd have read about it

Yep and I think one of the ones in the video was another player maybe? Would be bad if he roughed up another million dollar player too.

I love that Messi trusts the bodyguard so much that he doesn't even flinch at stuff, he knows his boy has him covered.

I need a boundary setter to walk around with me and set good boundaries with the people I interact with.
