As far as I remember, it was one article from years ago where he quotes someone else. You're making it sound like MoA is a rabid anti-LGBT blog when in fact in the last few years I've been following it (since the start of the Ukraine war) it has only been anti-NATO, anti-US, pro-Russia, and now since the flare up in Lebanon/Gaza/Palestine it has only been anti-Israel, pro-Palestine, pro-Hezbollah. I have yet to see something transphobic or about LGBT issues at all, it only covers the conflict in Ukraine and Palestine, sometimes commenting on US internal politics (always with distaste for both Trump and Kamala) and German/EU politics.
The blog is a great source to send people who might otherwise be turned off by red stars and hammers and sickles, who you want to inform about Ukraine or Palestine. There is just so few good sources on them that dismissing one like this based on hear-say is counter-productive.
I'm not dismissing it, overall it's an okay source imo. But I remember them posting something akin to "Transgender nonsense" - and it was an incoherent mess of words. Yes, it was a long time ago, still, I thought some people might feel uneasy.
Also - in this exact post they linked "Transgender - The Inability To Distinguish Facts From Wishes". A bit sus, I suppose
Yeah, in the article he's talking about, quoting, and agreeing with Matt Taibbi. It's not good. I post the blog posts that inform on Ukraine, Palestine and the crises in US/EU/NATO because I think they often contain lots of well-sourced information.
LeniX wrote a pretty restrained and gently warning, and OP replies with paragraphs.
No they didn't. Transphobia is worth being called out.
It is and I didn't disagree with the assessment.
