Yeah… I figured as much. Take a walk.

Yeah, just take walks every time things seem dire. Ground yourself and find peace, ignore how tenuous it is. Then go on as normal, don't lose faith in your principles. It'll work out, they're worth it, no need to abandon them.

Things seem dire because... Checks thread people don't treat you like a super special big strong boy just because you're a white male?

That's what you think I'm saying because you've gotten so fucking used to mocking your allies and enemies as if they are the same. You "know" they are the same. You've decided that they are the same.

You're the kind of progressive that deserves to stand with the few against the cruel. Not all progressives deserve it, so it shouldn't happen. But you would deserve it, and if there are enough of you, you will make it happen as you provoke it at every opportunity.

You taunt them to hunt people like you. And so they do. The shootings aren't a separate phenomenon from these conversations you're having.

You provoke enemies and push away allies.

Anyone who thinks white men are being discriminated against is an idiot, and I'll tell them as much.

If telling someone "white men aren't being discriminated against you idiot" pushes them to do violence, then that person is not my ally and never was. They are a dangerous individual that should never have been allowed access to a fork, never mind a weapon.
A proper educational and mental health system should have caught such individuals long ago to give them the treatment they need.

"discriminated against"

You don't even recognize what you're doing. You don't understand the situation or your opposition at all.
But it's not surprising, you don't want to.

You don’t even recognize what you’re doing. You don’t understand the situation or your opposition at all.

Okay, so tell me what I'm doing. Explains the situation. This is a teachable moment, and telling me "You don't know understand" does help me to actually understand.
