The plastic face scratches very easily- I've had to buff out 2 scratches in 3 weeks, so I feel like it won't have much longevity for daily use. It's also kinda loud, and can be audibly heard clicking every single second when you're in a quiet space.

Agreed! Found this when I went through the Swatch back catalogue on Etsy. They have SO many watches going back decades!

Is the face color changing? Do you know any details about which variant/color it is? I'd be really curious to look at it more online!

This one is the New Gent Polapurple, SUOK712

It's from the 2018 line-up, so you won't find it in stores, though other versions of the "New Gent" line can be similar, with different colors etc.

The face doesn't really change colors; it's more that the coating on the plastic changes the color that's reflecting based on angle, kind of like a CD :)

There's a Europe only Casio a1000 variant I've been thinking about someday getting with a similar sort of lens coating
