Also, not sure they knew how rich he was.

They knew:

Harry enjoyed the breakneck journey down to the Weasleys’ vault, but felt dreadful, far worse than he had in Knockturn Alley, when it was opened. There was a very small pile of silver Sickles inside, and just one gold Galleon. Mrs Weasley felt right into the corners before sweeping the whole lot into her bag. Harry felt even worse when they reached his vault. He tried to block the contents from view as he hastily shoved handfuls of coins into a leather bag.

I think Molly also withdrew money on Harry's behalf on at least one occasion.

And I dont think Molly would have let him, the Wesley's always made do on their own. Harry (a kid) helping out would put quite a stain on their pride.

Yeah, very much this:

‘Well, they’re OK!’ said Ron angrily, looking at Harry’s robes. ‘Why couldn’t I have some like that?’
‘Because … well, I had to get yours second-hand, and there wasn’t a lot of choice!’ said Mrs Weasley, flushing.
Harry looked away. He would willingly have split all the money in his Gringotts vault with the Weasleys, but he knew they would never take it.

Yeah, shorthand for Chamber of Secrets, chapter 4 and Goblet of Fire, chapter 10.

Page numbers can vary between editions, but chapter numbers do not.
