I did indeed miss it, thank you. That's good news even if the new battery platform raises prices slightly. I thought killing it was a rather ponderous decision, anecdotally, I see car carriers full of them regularly.
I daily drive a Bolt and absolutely love it. It's the most practical commuting and errand running car on the market IMO. Fantastic efficiency and so spacious for it's size.
I hope the new battery platform means it gets faster DCFC. The 50 kW limit is very limiting for road trips much longer than the a full battery's distance.

I'm gonna hold my excitement until they give more details. Reintroducing at a much higher price point, or in 4 years, is not going to be good enough.
