My guess is that the supressor was homemade or not perfectly matched up to the gun. Judging from the footage the shooter was prepared for this but seems to have had a malfunction after the third shot.
Its kind of interesting that three spent cases and three unfired rounds were found at the scene so alternatively it may have been that every other trigger pull resulted in a light strike on the primer, which could also look like what was seen in the footage. This feels unlikely.
