Biren, InnoSilicon, and Moore Threads could all use an ISA developed by Imagination Technology.

One of the biggest transfers of wealth of our time is the export of technology overseas to places that don’t care about IP.

This has happened before in history, except "overseas" was the Atlantic (instead of the Pacific) and the IP thief was the early American colonies (later named the USA) the the victims were the nations of Europe. This was before the Berne Convention was established in 1886 which was the first modern legal establishment of copyright.

Interesting! I haven’t thought about that time period as another transfer of knowledge.
