I really wish "Know your Customer" laws applied to corporations. We should be able to determine their structure and who they work with. None of this is transparent and it should be.

I completely agree. I've been boycotting Nestle for over a decade but still occasionally find myself having to make sure a new product I want to try isn't made by them.
