I checked out of the smartphone market a long time ago because I hate technology.

How are fold phones these days? Good? Or they a gimmick?

You pay more just for the gimmick. But personally I love the gimmick so it's worth it for me. I currently have a flip but when the time comes to upgrade I hope I have enough money for a fold. The flip is great since it fits any pocket but a fold makes more sense.
