Libre Culture
What is libre culture?
Libre culture is all about empowering people. While the general philosophy stems greatly from the free software movement, libre culture is much broader and encompasses other aspects of culture such as music, movies, food, technology, etc.
Some beliefs include but aren't limited to:
- That copyright should expire after a certain period of time.
- That knowledge should be available to people, not locked away.
- That no entity should have unjust control or possession of others.
- That mass surveillance is about mass control, not justice.
- That we can all band together to help liberate each other.

Rules
I've looked into the ways other forums handle rules, and I've distilled their policies down into two simple ideas.
-
Please show common courtesy: Let's make this community one that people want to be a part of.
-
Please keep posts generally on topic
-
No NSFW content
-
When sharing a Libre project, please include the name of its license in the title. For example: “Project name and summary (GPL-3.0)”
Libre culture is a very very broad topic, and while it's perfectly okay for a conversation to stray, I do ask that we keep things generally on topic.

YouTube pulled down a video that I had had up for over a year because they said it glorified terrorism, then they blocked my ability to monetize my channel (which I can't even do because I don't get enough traffic, and I wouldn't do it anyway because fuck em).
It was that scene from South Park where they're all laughing about AIDS having been around for 22.3 years, thusly making it ok to laugh at, but I had recorded over all the "AIDS"s with "9/11"s. It was uploaded on the 22.3 year anniversary of 9/11, which is why it was funny. Now it's gone.
Bastards.
Tbh this username doesn't help lol
You know, you're right, lmfao
Even worse, this name originates from my days playing Modern Warfare 3 on the Nintendo Wii; started gaming with this dude who started the BOMBIN clan, so we all had BOMBIN on the end of our names. His name? OsamaBinBOMBIN
This was 200...7/8?
But I know the guy behind the tag, and it ain't the one they "killed and buried at sea" 🙄. His name is Khari. Haven't spoken to him in years, so... Sup Khari? If you're seeing this.
