You should emphasize the 4-legged more than animal. Also they're 270-570lb and ~58.8% of their body weight is skeletal muscle, highest percentage of any mammal.

People like to ignore that humans are animals too often. And honestly not great at anything if we don't have tools. Even persistence hunting requires at least water and a spear.

Just a rock or a knife, if you wear the animal down enough. You're probably not biting through the hide though.
