Wife has a retroid pocket 5.

She's 4 months into Stardew Valley.

She's ready for a new game.

Any suggestions?

No, sorry. I do see Android has access to the Good Pizza, Great Pizza series of games but have no idea if those quality games are controller support.

Would bet Android has both Minecraft and controller support for it, and maybe the Minecraft competitor Minetest/Luanti is on Android and has that too. That's all I can provide.
