Oh my goodness this is really awful and sad. I often wondered about the sheer amount of stress and mental anguish that must have haunted her. Poor girl.
Y'know I've had a really shit day finalising moving house, things have gone wrong and I got bloody angry earlier. But hey, I'll be there again tomorrow carrying on because what happened to me today is damn trivial.
Sad news, may she rest eternally in peace.
All due respect, but I read your comment as trivializing her lengthy, arduous battle with suicide, and I'd very much like to give you the benefit of the doubt โ not only for the benefit of those who thankfully have no idea what it's like, but most of all for those that do. ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Edit: Typical. Reactionary downvotes in complete disregard to the potential for risk to others โ from either confident ignorance or myopic childishness. Bravo, team. Way to show your colors.
Personally I'm not a fan of comparing misfortunes as a way to feel better or worse about your own but I also think it's basically a cultural thing that people do without really meaning any harm and something that you can't expect everyone to have really thought about and corrected.
Unintentional harm is still harm. Ever try starting an apology with, "I didn't mean to, but..."? Same reason why trying to explain why your culpability is lessened by a lack of intent toward the results of your actions miiight not be the best choice.
