Observe the fire (in meditation) and the fire ceases to be fire. Observe the hurt and the hurt ceases to be hurt. Therefore fire and hurt are not the end of it.
I would hesitate to conclude any "point". I have yet to gain any totally comprehensive understanding of my practice. I just go further. "Beyond beyond" as they say.
I dunno about you but I have yet to find any permanent form.
It's a book and therefore 99% of its meaning is your own interpretation. To call it the master is to call yourself the master. And tomorrow your understanding will change.
