We're only 5 years in to this generation, I guarantee they are not announcing new hardware this year. At best they'll announce that portable partnership with Asus.

Nintendo had to because they are perpetually a generation behind.

Xbox - 11/15/2001
Xbox 360 - 11/22/2005 (4 years)
Xbox One - 11/22/2013 (8 years)
Xbox Series X - 11/10/2020 (7 years)

In the end though, this tariff situation makes a new console launch all but impossible. We saw that in the gap between the 360 and the One, the global financial crisis made it impossible.
