Firefox is kind of a sticky situation, because while they changed their ToS, removing some terms about "sale of data" to comply with overbroad legal terminology, they didn't actually change their privacy policy. The internet freaked out, because Mozilla did a shit job of explaining the change, and now it exists in a space where it's lost a lot of community goodwill.

I still use it, though, and I think it's good that you mentioned that you have to configure it to be more private. I'll have to check more into Waterfox, too.

Yeah, my understanding that it mostly came down to incredibly poor communication on their end. Still trying to find a link that succinctly explains both sides of the situation
