Honestly, I think Tierney can absolutely learn the inverting role anyway, and he already has been. He plays centre-back for Scotland, for fucks sake. Mans was our best player for a good while and you're telling me he can't even get a spot on the bench when our first choice is out? Make it make sense. He's got a good mentality as well and clearly is eager to get his chance.
