I dunno, he just needs a win and ending the invasion in Ukraine would be a big one.

Though yes it could also be something super bad like he's asking for Putin so then Putin can claim there was a super crazy attack in Moscow which gives him reason to up the ante munitions wise into something a bit longer lasting and much more spicy.
