It's been a weird situation.
Discontinuing syncthing-android - 2024
But then they list Syncthing-Fork in the docs, seemingly giving the fork their blessing

So I guess your main options are:
Can confirm am using Syncthing-Fork from F-Droid.
I use it too, work well! 🙂
