Not sure how many we have this week, but it was 40-something last week.
In this week's shenanigans, someone had two 50 pound sacks of food a little too close to the one enclosure and both were torn open and scattered everywhere!
We need to be vaccinated on rabies to work with them, and all but one person with the shots had called out, so they were stuck caring for all of them by themselves and then cleaning up all the mess!
Last week, they broke a door and 7 of them escaped the first level of fencing. This is why we have multiple levels of defense!
These rascals are always up to something. I'm going to have to figure out how to get the shots so I can help out next year.
I don't know, I bet if you posted exactly what you did above with some pictures of the darlings, someone may donate! Maybe not, but maybe so. But I'd check with the director, obvs.
I'm thankfully to be at a point where I can make the investment. I'd rather you guys take care of your local wildlife first, then my rescue, and after that if you still have too much money left you don't know what to do with, theeeeen you can give me some. ๐
