I actually don't play them much, dn3d just hooks a special place in my heart.

When I was a kid, my dad brought home an old catalog "server" he bought from his work, a windows 3.1 batch of floppy, a windows 3 for dummies manual and the share ware copy of duke3d.

He sat it down in front of me and said "if you can figure it out, you can play the game."

That phrase started me down the path I'm on today. Little kid Big Boss moved heaven and earth to get that game working... and those girls in the pods probably explain a few things too lol
