Place to go? (lemmy.world)

Now that the /r/usenet mods essentially killed off the community without creating an 'official' backup community I wonder where to go? This seems like the lemmy community with the most subscribers at least. Or are there any other places around?

Thankfully archive.org has fairly recent copies of all the information in the wiki.

I believe there is a way to export Reddit data and import into Lemmy.

I just looked into it. Doesn't look like you can do this for private subreddits :( It makes sense, I guess.
